Steve Rugg is the Chief Operating Officer of AVIAN Inventory Management.

Spanning four decades in the aviation industry, Steve has leveraged his technical expertise, program leadership and quality focus to maximize organizational efficiencies while consistently exceeding customer expectations.

Before joining AVIAN Steve was a Senior Director at Regional One in Miami, a financier, and lessor of Commercial aircraft, engines, and key components.

Steve had also served as VP/ GM America Sales for SR Technics, a leading MRO organization for commercial aircraft, where he built a team and identified an incremental growth pipeline of $1.2B while concurrently providing better service to airline customers.

In rio years Steve served as Director Sales at Lufthansa Technik where he developed a sales & marketing team to support the North American region, focused primarily on airframe and engine PBH programs.

Earlier, Steve was a Reliability & Safety Engineer at OEM McDonnell Douglas where he analyzed system designs for T-45A and MD-11 certifications. As a Field Service Technician, Steve led oversight, and analysis to resolve maintenance issues for US Air Force KC-10 tanker aircraft.

Steve is a proud 6-year veteran of the US Air Force where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant as an Avionics Technician, supporting General Dynamics F-111D fighter/bombers and F-16 fighters, McDonnell Douglas F-15 fighters, Lockheed C-130 Hercules, C-5 Galaxy heavy lift and C-141B transport aircraft.
